IT would never get my money.

My quarters have better uses.

We aren't there yet but I imagine we will be.Anet or NcSoft agents knocking on your door but on the other hand they will need to hire people to do those jops maybe we can all go work for them.

well that depends entirely on the ps2 games. i know i've got over 1000 hours of play in a few console games.

If GW required quarters to play in arcade. I would wait for saga or namco to converts it to home console version.

If GW requires quarters or any other MMO require quarters:

A: I would seriously consider getting back to professional SF competition.
B: I would use one quarter to play a PvE character that never dies.

If Guild Wars cost any amount of money after the initial purchase of the game (whatever the campaign may be) I would cease to play. I am firmly against monthly fees for a game I've already paid for. Guild Wars has offered me a convienent, fast paced online RPG that I don't need to pay for every month. The bonus campaigns and content are optional, so if a new expansion comes out, I can choose not to pay. (And can still play the content I have purchased.)

This is why I don't play games like WoW. The monthly fee requires a greater monetary sacrifice, something I just can't afford.
